Hey y’all welcome back to the blog… I wrote out a beautiful well written, and decorated blog- but felt the need to scratch it and write a little differently this time, a side I don’t normally share but the side that may need sharing most!
A while ago I was praying if God wanted me to go to a specific supernatural ministry school and He said “no, I want to show you and teach you myself.”
So the other day (yesterday) my team was going out in small teams to evangelize, practice preaching, intercede, and study The Word. I was on the intercession team and on the way to our location I got to share The Gospel with the Uber driver and pray over this man, Then after sweet time of revelation and intercession we headed back in a different Uber. As we were driving I was sitting in the back seat and we hadn’t really started a conversation with the man and God was asking me to share the Gospel with this man and I was hesitant and The Holy Spirit prompted my heart saying something similar to “what is he died today without hearing the Gospel because you didn’t share it with him?.” I was like okay God and popped my head up and started asking him about The Gospel and the convo came to a short end. -I started asking God for a word of knowledge for this guy and He said that it was up to my teammate in the front seat to obey Him. A few moments later she started speaking and as she spoke, continued to spur the conversation on, and my neck started burning on the left side and made it fairly clear to me that our friend had an ailment of some sort. We continued talking and asking him if he had any physical pain and he said he didn’t- but the burning continued and I shared with Him how God can heal something as small as neck pain or huge things and a testimony of a guy being healed. After a bit we had shifted to something and he changed the subject and shared that he did have a numbness on the left side of his body that comes and goes and he wanted prayer. The four of us got to lay hands and I believe that if it’s Gods will ( we may never see him again) that he won’t struggle with that anymore.
God is in the big and small- He’s recently been sharing things about the churches we visit in different areas overseas, from child abuse to provision in souls and how a church would continue for ages – which I found out later the church was getting demolished and they were believing for the funds for a new building. Walking in the gifts of the spirit is so beautiful but sometimes it’s not the most exciting to share the negative things. Sometimes God shares things between just Him and I, but other times He wants it shared with others which requires obedience but He without fail has brought blessing in obedience.
It’s so sweet how much the Lord has been sharing through The Holy Spirit and trusting us with, but miracles and these incredibly big moves of God are not the end goal. The goal is Gods heart and intimacy with Him. Our very existence rests on His love and wanting relationship with us- in doing life with Him and partnering with his will for wherever we are- His will plays out in our lives HOW EVER He wants it to look.
It can be so easy to make miracles, ministry, or huge testimony’s a god if we’re not careful. I was created to commune with my best friend and Father. The more I dive deeper and run after Him the more I see Him move.
I hope y’all take that as an encouragement to seek friendship and communion with God, He just wants to hear from you- anything else will follow.
-Everything being said, ministry has been so sweet, from basketball banquets, foster homes, senior homes, and now rehabs and schools coming up! So sweet in so many ways ❤️
